अहं सर्वस्य प्रभवो मत्तः सर्वं प्रवर्तते।
इति मत्वा भजन्ते मां बुधा भावसमन्विताः॥
In this verse, Lord Krishna describes His divine form and supreme essence. He makes it clear that He is the ultimate cause of the entire universe—creation, preservation, and dissolution all originate from Him. He pervades everything, both within and beyond all beings. The term “Buddhah” refers to the truly wise, those who understand this profound truth—that God is the foundation of the entire cosmos—and with this understanding, they engage in heartfelt devotion to Him—not just with intellect, but with complete faith and love. This verse highlights the significance of the path of devotion in the Bhagavad Gita and emphasizes that the true spiritual path is a harmonious blend of knowledge and devotion.
I am the origin of the entire creation; everything arises from Me.
Knowing this, the wise devotedly and lovingly worship Me with faith.
The person who understands that God is the source of everything walks the path of devotion and humility, letting go of ego.
